Mr. Tahir Ahmed addressed the above seminar on 3rd April 2008. He discussed the recent spate of fire claims and drew comparisons between the fire losses in 2006, 2007 and first quarter 2008. He emphasized that increasing frequency and severity of fire claims demands adequate response from insurance industry otherwise we should be prepared for a below average year this time around as well.
